LeCoustal features 7 spacious individually decorated guest rooms, each with its own unique feel. Although we usually only rent out a maximum of 3 to ensure that each guest has space and privacy, all rooms can be available to let to large families or groups of friends on request. Private office space is also available on request..
The former library on the ground floor has been lovingly renovated and transformed into a self contained suite offering luxury accommodation to all guests, those with reduced mobility. The remaining individually decorated the first floor, including La Romantique and La chambre du Gentilhomme, enjoy either stunning views over gardens and rolling hills to the south or our private parkland to the north.
We offer a discount for stays of more than 7 nights.
Accessed by large double doors from the Entrance Hall this wheelchair friendly self contained apartment has twin electric beds (which can easily be put together to make one double) and a relaxing seating area with two leather sofas. With a flat screen TV (British Free-view channels and French TV), DVD player, fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities this provides guests with a real home from home.
The spacious private shower room, accessed via a 77cm wide single door has a raised toilet, a pedestal hand basin for easy wheelchair access and an extra large, low profile shower tray. A folding seat and movable grab rails are also provided.

Arguably our most romantic room, La Romantique has been recently renovated and hung with calming bleu-marine wall fabric. With its 2 large double shuttered windows overlooking the rear gardens and rolling fields and hills to the south, this room features a 150cm wide traditional French double bed along with matching armchairs in the cosy seating area as well as a large desk with large built-in cupboards. La Romantique has its own bright and airy private bathroom with bath and above-bath shower, bidet and twin wash basins just a couple of steps away across the corridor. €115 per night double occupancy including breakfast
This extremely spacious and charming vintage car-themed room with 160cm wide double bed has its own balcony which overlooks the parkland and drive to the north. It's the perfect place to sit and enjoy an evening drink whilst listening to the birds. You might even see our tawny or barn owls or catch a glimpse of our very special red squirrel, Mr Tickles, if you're lucky!

Our spacious family room, which is available only as part of a group booking, offers guests flexible accommodation whether travelling with a young family or a teenage son or daughter. With lovely views over the gardens and valley to the south this double or twin bedded room also has a 120cm wide Napoleon style Lit Bateau.
The wc and shared bathroom with bath and above-bath shower, bidet and large twin wash basins are a few steps away across the corridor.

Our smallest and cosiest bedroom, La Chambre du Valet is, as its name suggests, where the valet would originally have slept. Boasting a stunning original 18th century fireplace and ceiling mouldings this room has beautiful views across the walled garden to the Dronne valley to the south.

Recently saved from ruin and lovingly restored using locally sourced and recycled materials, our former water reservoir, L'ancienne citerne, has been transformed into a unique, ecological 1 bedroom suite on two floors. Nestled next to our wild flower meadow this Off-Grid hideaway is perfect for couples looking for peace and tranquillity close to nature. With a super comfy king-size bed to snuggle up in and a hanging hammock chair to curl up in to read your favourite book, relaxation is guaranteed . Downstairs the former water basin has been beautifully transformed into a large bathroom and dressing room with a huge walk-in solar powered shower.
To ensure a truly relaxing break, we offer our signature continental breakfast basket which can be delivered daily to your private terrace. A gas barbecue is provided (as well as all utensils, crockery and cutlery) in your private outdoor kitchen for you to cook delicious local produce from our local market gardeners or nearby markets.
